Cinco de Mayo is being observed this Sunday May 5th.  It's a celebration of Mexican pride and heritage in the United States. The festivities center around food, drinks, music and good company. I helped friends decorate an outdoor table for a small gathering they were having to celebrate this occasion early. Beautiful, bright colors are an intrinsic part of the Mexican culture, so we used as many as possible.  For our table, an orange table cover and  green table skirt aided in  bringing out the bright colors of the decorative  masks. Fun and Festive Holiday Tables

 Bring a festive feel to your occasion inexpensively with a colorful table skirt and valance.  Here I use a Christmas color theme for the party table. I add two size valances, 11-inches and an 8-inch, in red and green to a base white skirt. If renting tables, a great way to hide ugly metal legs is with table skirts. if just the top needs hiding, add a table cover. Or, dress it up using your own linen table cloths mixed with plastic table skirts. TIP: Use 3 colors to add dimension.
