Cinco de Mayo is being observed this Sunday May 5th.  It's a celebration of Mexican pride and heritage in the United States. The festivities center around food, drinks, music and good company. I helped friends decorate an outdoor table for a small gathering they were having to celebrate this occasion early. Beautiful, bright colors are an intrinsic part of the Mexican culture, so we used as many as possible.  For our table, an orange table cover and  green table skirt aided in  bringing out the bright colors of the decorative  masks. World Nutella Day!

FYI to all you fellow chocoholics out there...Feb. 5th is World Nutella Day!!! To celebrate I decided to make homemade Nutella (recipe below) It might surprise you to learn that there is no sugar in this recipe. It’s sweetened with honey.  Can that mean that it’s healthy? I used it make Nutella Crack Pie.
